National Broadcaster Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) to organize a cultural book concert wherein immigrants inspired by their homelands folktales, write children's books in korean.
The participants from countries like Russia, Morocco, China and Philippines will showcase their work, share elements of their heritage, offering audiences a unique lens by blending storytelling techniques in their native language.
The event will feature various mesmerizing activities from live readings, storytelling, performing arts to KBS voice actors narrating selected stories accompanied by sand art and shadow play. This intricate presentation aims at creating an immersive and engaging experience for both children and adults.
Apart from the storytelling, a medley of children's songs, a performance by children's choir and dance troupe are also on the list. Adding to it, the concert will also feature a live performance by the KBS orchestra,
The concert will take place in KBS Art Hall in Yeouido, Seoul from 4 P.M to 5.30 P.M this friday. The event is a part of Family Month Activities, organized in celebration of Together Day, celebrated on 20th May, established by the Ministry of Justice with the aim of strengthening intercultural ties and foster an inclusive society.
