The Korean Academy is pleased to introduce Grace, an internationally oriented student and emerging researcher with interests spanning technology, society, digital inequality, intercultural understanding, and global cooperation. With an academic and professional background connected to Ecuador and international research initiatives, Grace brings a multidisciplinary perspective to contemporary global challenges.
Grace is currently pursuing her graduate studies in the Department of Education at Indoamerica Technological University, Ecuador. Alongside her academic journey, she is developing international professional experience as a Global Research & Communications Intern at Inceptr Media. Through these experiences, she is exploring the intersection of research, communication, technology, and social development while strengthening her understanding of global issues.
Her academic and professional interests include multilateral engagement, digital inequality, digital governance, youth participation, human rights, political rights, climate change, sustainability, and the relationship between humans and the environment. She is particularly interested in how technology is influencing societies and how international cooperation can contribute to more inclusive and sustainable communities.
Grace also brings a strong interest in intercultural communication and international engagement. Fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, she is able to communicate across different linguistic and cultural environments. Her multilingual background supports her interest in promoting intercultural understanding and creating meaningful connections among people from diverse communities.
As part of her international engagement, Grace contributes to research and communication activities connected with the Science Summit UNGA82. She has also gained hands-on experience through initiatives such as MENTAL 2.0: STATE OF MIND, where she has explored narratives surrounding health, community, and social awareness. These experiences allow her to connect academic knowledge with practical international engagement.
Her broader conversation lens covers several important global themes, including climate change, intercultural relations, youth, digital governance, the Global South, human–environment relationships, political rights, global sustainability, and human rights. Together, these interests reflect her desire to understand complex global challenges from multiple perspectives and contribute to conversations that encourage cooperation and social progress.
