The Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) is excited to announce the upcoming research project “AI-Assisted Storytelling Generation” (September 27 – December 25, 2025). This cross-modal project will explore innovative approaches to generating storytelling content with the help of AI, incorporating different models and concepts such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Leading this effort are our new researchers who joined in September 2025: Alisha Naaz, with research interests in intercultural communication, digital media, and advertising & PR; Asma, focused on media and communication; Vantala Akhila and Janya, both specializing in computer science and artificial intelligence; and Sakshi, with a background in finance. Over the course of the project, students will work collaboratively to experiment with AI-driven storytelling models, analyze their applications in communication and media, and contribute to advancing knowledge in cross-modal AI research.
