Terms and Services for The Korean Academy

By using the services of The Korean Academy, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Enrollment and Payment

You may enroll in any of our courses by completing the registration process and paying the required fees. The fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. All fees are non-refundable. In case of wire transactions, students cannot ask for a refund as the money is sent to Korea.

Documents Issuance

If a student needs to issue their documents before the end of the course, an additional fee of 1,00,000 WON will be charged. The student needs to send an advance email requesting the document issuance at least 15 days prior to the required date.

Examination and Certification

In case a student fails in any of the examinations, they will not be issued a certificate or any other documents. The student needs to re-register for the exam, which will cost 50,000 WON per re-attempt.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to, videos, text, images, and audio, are the property of The Korean Academy and are protected by copyright laws. The use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials without the express written consent of The Korean Academy is strictly prohibited.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Korean Academy makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information or materials provided in the courses.

Limitation of Liability

The Korean Academy shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising from the use of the courses or the inability to use the courses.

Termination of Services

The Korean Academy reserves the right to terminate services to any student for any reason, including but not limited to, violation of these terms and conditions, disruptive behavior, or cheating.

Important Points:

All fees are non-refundable, including wire transactions.
Issuance of documents before the end of the course will cost an additional fee of 1,00,000 WON, and the request needs to be made at least 15 days prior to the required date.
